Virginia is drawn to the Salt Flats of Ibiza.

 

Salt was known as ‘white gold’ and its production over the centuries has had an enormous impact on the evolvement and regeneration of the island both through natural and human processes.

Virginia’s paintings present a view of this place. But beneath the surface they also present a layering of events and of the people who worked on this land.
