Virginia was born and raised in Pateley Bridge in the heart of Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. Her family have lived and worked on the land here for generations.

​

 

It was whilst studying for her MA that Virginia began to question the 'pull' and 'the sense of belonging' that she has when in her native Yorkshire.

 

The Yorkshire collection explores this relationship with the land.
